Who is responsible for your data

Apycue processes your data on Dinuda Lagoon Hotel - Kalpitiya's behalf and instructions, as its data processor — Apycue does not decide how your data is used beyond operating the service Dinuda Lagoon Hotel - Kalpitiya configures.

What we collect

When you search for a stay: your chosen dates and number of guests. We do not require an account to search.

When you book, enquire, or opt in to be contacted about an unfinished booking: your name, email address, phone number, and the details of the stay you are booking or asked about.

When you pay online: your payment is handled directly by our payment provider (Razorpay or Stripe). We do not see or store your full card details — only a payment confirmation and reference.

Why we collect it

To find and hold a room for you, take your payment, and send your booking confirmation.

To contact you about a booking you started but did not finish, only if you explicitly opted in to that at the time.

To let our staff manage your reservation — for example if you ask to change or cancel it, or if you write to us about your stay.

How long we keep it

We keep your personal details on file for up to 3 years after your last stay with us, after which they are anonymised. Your booking record itself (dates, amounts, confirmation number) is kept for our accounting records, but it is no longer linked to your name once anonymised.

Our booking-engine and website provider, Apycue, which hosts this website and processes bookings on our behalf.

Our payment provider (Razorpay or Stripe), to process an online payment.

Our email provider, to send you a booking confirmation.

We do not sell your personal data.

Your rights

You can ask Dinuda Lagoon Hotel - Kalpitiya to access, correct, or erase your personal data by contacting us using the details above. We will action an erasure request by anonymising your profile and past bookings, in the same way our automatic retention schedule does.
